Who couldn't use a little sanity these days? Mindful awareness meditation is the moment-by-moment process of observing one’s physical, mental, and emotional experiences. Mindfulness has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being. This half-hour guided meditation is open to people of all levels of experience. The in-person session will be led by Diana Winston, Director of Mindfulness Education at UCLA . The event will be held in the Billy Wilder Theater within the Hammer Museum. Attendance is free & doors open at 12:15.
We will assemble at 12 noon in the courtyard outside the Billy Wilder Theater.
Valet parking is available on Lindbrook Drive for $10 cash only. Self-parking is available under the museum and is usually free on Thursdays. There are also self pay lots within a block or two of the museum.
