You'll meet new and current Hank members, learn about upcoming events, and enjoy great conversation and a great cup of coffee or tea...and feel free to bring a friend or two. 

Meet us Wednesday, October 19th from 10:30am to 12:30pm at 184 Duane Street at Laughing Man Cafe. Take the 1/2/A/C train to Chambers Street -  a 7-minute walk, or the 4/5/6 to Brooklyn Bridge - a ten-minute walk. I look forward to seeing you! No need to bring anything, just yourself and a smile.

Bridge & Games: Mah Jongg group for the New York tri-state area. Hank is thrilled to be partnering with Bridge & Games to build the games community and host in-person games!  Look out for regularly scheduled games gatherings.

Mah Jongg originated in the Qing Dynasty and means "chattering sparrow" because of the sound of the tiles in the shuffling process. Brought to the U.S. in the early 1900s, Mah Jongg has become very popular. Mah Jongg players enjoy regional variants of the game, and American Mah Jongg was standardized by the National Mah Jongg League in 1986. There are also many benefits to playing Mah Jongg. Research has shown that Mah Jongg can help improve memory skills and sharpen the mind, as well as teach patience and help people make faster decisions and better observations. Also known as "the Game of Intelligences."
