Most of the time, members use Hank’s built-in chat features to coordinate around events. When you RSVP to an event, you’re automatically added to an event-specific chat. This is a great space to say hello, introduce yourself, coordinate logistics like where to meet or park, and even share tips about the venue or neighborhood.
Sometimes, members may choose to send private messages to one another as well. While the vast majority of interactions are positive, you may occasionally receive a message that feels a little “off.” If that ever happens—we’re here to support you.
One of Hank’s most helpful member communication tools is the built-in chat features! That said, If something doesn’t sit right—like someone asking for personal details or sending messages unrelated to Hank—you have a few easy options:
We take safety seriously. Our team actively monitors reported chats and accounts to help keep Hank a respectful and welcoming space. When necessary, we remove users who don’t follow our guidelines. We’re also working on improving our safety tools, including new tools to limit and stop suspicious behaviors and accounts. In the meantime, your awareness and feedback go a long way in keeping the community safe and friendly.
