- INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Gethank. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Wider Circle Inc. d/b/a Gethank (hereinafter “Gethank”). - SCOPE & DEFINITIONS
“Services” means (i) the free core scheduling platform; (ii) any one‑time event payments or optional premium subscription features (including promotional codes, prizes, or volunteer‑reward tiers); and (iii) all mobile, web, and other interfaces or integrations offered by Wider Circle Inc. (d/b/a Gethank). - ENTITY & JURISDICTION
These Terms are between you and Wider Circle Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business at 50 Woodside Plaza #743, Redwood City, CA 94061. All disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Nothing in these Terms waives your rights under any applicable state consumer‑protection law. - USER ELIGIBILITY & CONSUMER PROTECTION
You must be at least 18 years old to register. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We market and provide Services throughout all U.S. states and territories and comply with federal and state consumer‑protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), New York’s SHIELD Act, and other applicable statutes. - PAYMENTS & BILLING
- One‑Time Event Payments: You may pay one‑time fees to register for or participate in certain events. All one‑time event payments are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
- Prize‑ and Code‑Based Redemptions: All prize‑ and code‑based redemptions are final and non‑refundable.
- Future Subscriptions: If and when we introduce paid premium subscriptions, applicable refund policies and auto-renewal disclosures will be presented at the time of purchase.
- We use Stripe to process payments and handle any required user verification. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USER CONTENT LICENSE
By posting any content on or through the Services, you grant Wider Circle Inc. a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to reproduce, modify, distribute, and display that content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Services (including marketing Gethank). - PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
Our Privacy Policy, available [Here], is incorporated by reference and describes in detail our data practices, including your rights under CCPA and similar state laws (right to know, delete, and opt‑out of sale). We retain personal data in accordance with CMS standards (e.g., 10‑year Medicare/Medicaid record retention). In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirmation - THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES
We integrate with and rely on various third‑party service providers to deliver and improve the Services. Your use of those third‑party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and you should review each provider’s policies before use. - DISPUTE RESOLUTION & ARBITRATION
All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, governed by California law, except for small‑claims court matters. You and Wider Circle Inc. waive any right to a jury trial; however, claims under California’s consumer‑protection statutes may proceed on a representative basis if and to the extent permitted by law. - ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate our community guidelines, which are incorporated by reference and available here, or if you engage in fraud or other legal violations. For all other breaches, we will provide a 15-day cure period. We may modify these Terms at any time with at least 30 days’ notice; your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes acceptance. - MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
By registering, you consent to receive promotional emails and SMS messages. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our communications or by contacting our support team. All messages comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable U.S. laws. - THIRD‑PARTY PARTNERSHIPS & DATA SHARING
We may share your information with health‑plan sponsors under contractual agreements for platform participation and analytics. Links to third‑party sites or partners are provided for convenience only; we do not endorse and are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. - ACCESSIBILITY
Wider Circle Inc. is committed to making Gethank accessible to all users, including older adults. We strive to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and will continually work to improve accessibility across our website and applications. - Member Responsibility and Assumption of Risk. You acknowledge that, as part of the Services, Gethank enables members to post, share, and coordinate local events and in-person meetings. Gethank may not organize, supervise, or control these events or the conduct of any participants. You understand and agree that participation in any event, meeting, or activity arranged through Gethank is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your personal safety and the safety of your property.
- No Warranty or Endorsement. Gethank does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any event information, or the conduct, identity, or qualifications of any users. The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
- Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge Gethank its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your participation in any event or meeting facilitated through the Services including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, or theft, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
- Sign-In Sheets and Personal Information. Some event organizers may use physical or digital sign-in sheets or similar attendance records at in-person meetings. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Use of sign-in sheets is optional and may be managed by the event organizer, not by Gethank.
- Gethank is not responsible for the loss, theft, disclosure, or misuse of any personal information provided voluntarily by attendees on such sign-in sheets. By choosing to provide your name, contact information, or other personal data on any sign-in sheet, you assume all risks related to that disclosure.
- Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or demands made by any third party arising from your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.
- Acknowledgment. You understand that by using Gethank you are waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue, and you do so voluntarily and with full knowledge of the risks involved.
